The Mt Hart access Road or 'driveway' is 50km long from the Gibb River Road turn-off, and will take approximately 40-60 minutes to drive (time depends on the condition of the road). The road was recently upgraded in June 2008. There are 36 creek crossings along the Mt Hart access road, so we recommend guests arrive at the Mt Hart turn-off no later than 4:30pm to avoid driving in the dark. We recommend accommodated guests call us on the satellite phone located at the Mt Hart Turn-off, so we know your estimated time of arrival. The road is suitable for Four-wheel drive vehicles only (no caravans).

Please note: Unleaded petrol is ONLY available at Mt Barnett, and diesel fuel is available at both Imintji and Mt Barnett road house. There is no fuel or diesel available at Mt Hart for sale.
