    All prices are per person, per night, and include a shady lawned campsite with flushing toilets, hot showers, alongside the Barker River, as well as access to the nearby gorges and scenic attractions.

  • MT HART CAMPGROUNDS
    OPEN FROM MAY 1ST - NOVEMBER 2009

    The campgrounds at Mt Hart Wilderness Lodge are located only a short stroll from the Homestead, right alongside the Barker River. The campsite is located in a large shady area, and there is a lawn to camp on, as well as hot showers and flushing toilets. There are some excellent swimming, picnic and fishing areas located right at the campground. There is even a canoe at the campground which you can use to paddle about 1 km up stream (at no extra cost). There is also a small pontoon to go swimming off in the river at the Campsite - which has proven very popular with kids and families this year!

     

  • The campgrounds are only a short drive away from the various gorges, and other scenic attractions located around Mt Hart. Some campers have stayed with us for up to a week taking advantage of the various scenic drives on the property, and exploring the gorges. 


    The option of gourmet three course dinners are also available to camping guests, as well as access to the licensed bar facilities up at the homesteads. 


    Our road is in excellent condition.
    Large Conventional Caravans are not suitable due to the 4WD road conditions.

    Please Note:     Some local visitor centers and tourist resources have not updated their records yet - they still have Mt Hart listed as not having any campgrounds.... But please rest assured our campground is open....And PRE-BOOKINGS ARE NOT ESSENTIAL FOR CAMPING AS THERE IS HEAPS OF ROOM.
